About Me

Hello! I'm Sam of Sweets by Sam. I've always loved baking for my friends and family. My love of baking came from my Baba (my Croatian grandmother) and my mother and now I hope to pass that love of baking to my own children.

In the infamous year of 2020, I had some time and stumbled upon some oddly satisfying cookie decorating videos. I wanted to learn how to do that! So since I had some time in my house, I learned and practiced (and I continue learning and practicing) and ta-da! Sweets by Sam was created! I now operate from my home kitchen under a New York State Home Food Processor license.

My team consists of mostly me! I am the baker and creator. But I have a lot of help from my husband, daughter, and son who are great taste testers and the best (and harshest) critics I have.

I am a lover of all sweets so I hope you enjoy and love my cookies as much as I do!
